UTM Faculty

A modular university building in Mendoza defined by a sequence of terraced vaulted roofs and naturally ventilated atriums that separate and organize program. A ceramic façade skin gives the building identity, durability, and climatic control.

This academic building for the Universidad Tecnológica de Mendoza is conceived as a modular system designed for clarity, adaptability, and environmental performance. The project is characterized by a rhythm of terraced vaulted roofs, creating a distinct silhouette while supporting controlled daylight and comfortable interior volumes.

Program is organized through a sequence of atriums that act as separators between functions and as environmental lungs, enabling natural ventilation and improving orientation and circulation throughout the building. The envelope is resolved as a ceramic façade skin—a robust, low-maintenance layer that provides solar filtering, texture, and a strong architectural identity aligned with Mendoza’s material culture. The result is a flexible learning environment that combines simple construction logic with high spatial quality.
