Rio Lujan Moorings
Venice was a private-competition residential masterplan on the Río Luján, near Puerto de Frutos in Tigre. The proposal combines buildings and waterfront lots around lagoons, green corridors, and marina-style moorings—integrating daily life with the river landscape.
Developed as a private competition, Venice is a waterfront masterplan located on the banks of the Río Luján, near Tigre’s Puerto de Frutos. The project is conceived as a residential environment structured by water: a network of reflective ponds and canals organizes parcels, views, and circulation, while providing direct relationships to the landscape and the river.
The plan brings together a mix of buildings and individual lots, with moorings that support a true boating lifestyle. Green areas and planted corridors reinforce the identity of the riparian ecosystem—native vegetation, shade, and microclimate—creating a calm, low-speed public realm and a continuous connection between neighborhoods and the waterfront. The result is a coherent masterplan where architecture is integrated with water and nature, delivering a distinctive residential experience rooted in Tigre’s river culture.
