Huts Colonia Suiza

A series of rental huts in Colonia Suiza, Bariloche, set on a steeply sloped site within one of the area’s most striking forest landscapes. Designed for short-stay adventure tourism, the cabins offer a quiet, immersive experience in nature.

Located in Colonia Suiza, Bariloche, this project places a collection of compact huts on a hillside site surrounded by an exceptional Patagonian forest. The proposal is driven by a low-impact approach: units are carefully positioned to follow the slope, protect mature trees, and maximize views while maintaining privacy between cabins.

Each hut is conceived for short-term stays and adventure tourism—simple, warm interiors with strong connections to the outdoors. Decks and sheltered thresholds extend living space into the landscape, creating places to rest after hiking, biking, or lake activities. The architecture remains quiet and precise, allowing the forest to dominate the experience while delivering comfort, durability, and a clear identity for a boutique rental destination.
