This project is a design proposal for the refunctionalization of Florence Airport, aimed at updating key spaces and systems to meet current operational needs. The concept prioritizes intuitive passenger flow, clearer wayfinding, and improved comfort across the terminal experience, while introducing a restrained contemporary language. The intervention is conceived as precise and buildable—enhancing performance and user experience without compromising the airport’s identity or day-to-day operations.
