Faro Bahia

A series of residences within a single macro lot in José Ignacio, Uruguay, organized around a shared artificial lagoon. Terraces and outdoor expansions open directly to the water, creating a calm, cohesive waterfront community.

Set in José Ignacio, this project proposes a collection of residences within a macro lot where the main shared amenity is a central artificial lagoon. The masterplan uses the water body as the organizing element—structuring circulation, views, and privacy while creating a strong collective identity for the community.

Each home is designed to maximize the relationship with the lagoon: living spaces extend to generous terraces, decks, and outdoor rooms that face the water, encouraging a relaxed lifestyle and a constant connection to the landscape. The result is a low-impact residential environment where architecture and open space are unified by one clear idea—daily life oriented to water, light, and calm.
