AD Commercial Centre

A shopping centre proposal in Adelaide defined by a continuous vaulted roof that adapts to the site’s complex geometry. The roof becomes the project’s main organizing element—guiding circulation and remaining present across the public interior.

This project proposes a commercial centre in Adelaide where the architecture is structured by a single, legible gesture: a vaulted roof that shifts and adapts to the complexity of the site and its urban context. Rather than treating the roof as a neutral cover, it becomes the primary spatial tool—shaping entrances, organizing internal streets, and creating a consistent identity throughout the public realm.

Below the canopy, retail is arranged along clear circulation routes and gathering points, with the roof continuously visible—reinforcing orientation and making the interior feel cohesive despite the irregular footprint. The result is a contemporary shopping environment where structure, movement, and public space are unified by one strong architectural element.
