Adidas World of Sports

A private-competition proposal for a new office building at adidas’ World of Sports headquarters in Herzogenaurach. A modular, highly flexible workplace organized around a longitudinal front atrium—the main connector and lobby—opening to the campus landscape through large glazed façades.

Designed as a private-competition proposal for adidas’ World of Sports campus in Herzogenaurach, this project explores an open, modular office concept built for continuous change. The building is conceived as a system of adaptable modules—supporting multiple team sizes, work modes, and future reconfigurations—within a clear, efficient framework.

A front longitudinal atrium acts as the project’s main urban room: the primary connector, lobby, and shared interior street that organizes arrivals, circulation, and informal interaction. Flooded with natural light, the atrium becomes a green, animated space—bringing daylight deep into the floorplates and creating strong visual connections to the landscaped campus through expansive glazing. The result is a contemporary workplace that feels both flexible and grounded in its setting—architecture as an extension of the campus experience.
